Great Food Terrible Waitress. I have been going to Doofers for over 20 years, but lately the staff has been the worst I have ever seen anywhere. I went in there the other day for some food and drinks with friends, and apparently our Waitress was having a bad day, because for some reason, I could not get a drink, she walked past our table several times, I finally called her out, and again was ignored. I then had to go up to the bar to get a drink. The friend I was with had ordered some food, and when she brought it to our table, she THREW it on the table and went the other way, not asking if we needed anything. I have dealt with her before and it wasnt good that time either. I really like there food, but the terrible service makes me never want to go back. Hopefully they will and can resolve that situation

Poor waitress. Food is typical bar fare..OK. But the waitress that we got was really bad....made us feel like she was doing us a big favor by taking the order. And there was no one in the place at the time( which makes sense now). Wont go back there until they get better help. Not worth the money to put up with crappy waitress.

Whats wrong with the waitress?. Was excited to go to Doofers for Sunday breakfast, headed out the door and the car battery died. Long story short, I called to find out how late they served breakfast, got there right on the minute at 1pm. With the family, sat down and told the waitress we wanted to make sure we could still order breakfast, only for her to say "sorry, we close breakfast at 12:45, which is bar time". Didn't bother to ask the kitchen had one table in the whole section occupied. I told her we would go somewhere else and that we made a special trip. She just shrugged her shoulders. Management was very nice but needs to teach the waitress a few lessons in customer service. We left and don't know if we will come back.

TOP NOTCH!!. Great great place to have dinner, lunch or even breakfeast. (Their steak and eggs are fabulous).

My family goes there about once a week and really enjoy it. Not only is the food amazing and fresh, but the service is great. I would recommend doofers to anyone. It is also family friendly!

under staffed? Dont care?. I went in at 7:45pm on 1/31/08. asked for a menu, requested chicken dinner for 4, and was told I would have to wait 1-hr! Seaating capacity was only about 50%! I went home hungry. What is important to these owners? I will never return, bartender showed no remorse, or cares.
