Poor waitress

Food is typical bar fare..OK. But the waitress that we got was really bad....made us feel like she was doing us a big favor by taking the order. And there was no one in the place at the time( which makes sense now). Wont go back there until they get better help. Not worth the money to put up with crappy waitress.

Whats wrong with the waitress?

Was excited to go to Doofers for Sunday breakfast, headed out the door and the car battery died. Long story short, I called to find out how late they served breakfast, got there right on the minute at 1pm. With the family, sat down and told the waitress we wanted to make sure we could still order breakfast, only for her to say "sorry, we close breakfast at 12:45, which is bar time". Didn't bother to ask the kitchen had one table in the whole section occupied. I told her we would go somewhere else and that we made a special trip. She just shrugged her shoulders. Management was very nice but needs to teach the waitress a few lessons in customer service. We left and don't know if we will come back.

TOP NOTCH!!

Great great place to have dinner, lunch or even breakfeast. (Their steak and eggs are fabulous).
My family goes there about once a week and really enjoy it. Not only is the food amazing and fresh, but the service is great. I would recommend doofers to anyone. It is also family friendly!

under staffed? Dont care?

I went in at 7:45pm on 1/31/08. asked for a menu, requested chicken dinner for 4, and was told I would have to wait 1-hr! Seaating capacity was only about 50%! I went home hungry. What is important to these owners? I will never return, bartender showed no remorse, or cares.

- Cons: understaffed, food dept short, staff dont care?
