Bad Attitudes from employees.
My friend and I stopped in for some dinner not too long ago, and it wasn't 5 minutes later, when our server (Stevie) began tossing an attitude towards us as well as those at the coffee bar (I assume they were regulars, from the way she knew their names). Three times we had to send our order back because she wrote it wrong....each time she returned with a new order and coping an attitude directly towards us. This woman was not only hung over, but we could see by her eyes, mannerisms and speech, that she was partially stoned. Now, I've been a drug counselor for 20+ years and know every trick and sign there is. This girl was tweaked! Not only were our orders continually wrong, but she was shaking from the DT's when pouring our coffees, and snitty towards the regulars at the coffee counter. Not only will I NOT come back, but I will let everyone know, that this cafe IS NOT the place to go to if you want good service. The bathroom was a mess, we had lousy service we could not get coffee refills, and made to feel unwelcome there. We were totally uncomfortable with our overall experience! This place IS NOT the place to have a pleasant experience in....when you're served by someone who is hung over and partially stoned on who knows what! It makes a person wonder, what shape the cooks are in! Save your money for someplace better and with employees who honestly care about their customers !!! Do not patronize this place!
Wasn't overly impressed.
We had a party of 5, 1 of which was about 5 mins late. The manager all but told us we couldn't have the table. She even asked me if I wanted to loss a bet that my party wouldn't be there in a min. I felt like it was rude. The server was nice but I felt like the staff was trying to rush everyone out to refill the tables. The food looked good coming out on the plates. The hash browns were not brown and too thick. All in all it was just OK wouldn't tell all my friend you gotta go there.
I vote the woodinville cafe the best reseraunt in town! great food for a resonable price and lovely employes. The enviorment is rather chill and seems to be very easy going, the service is great and the servers are very sweet. I had a run in with a very nice yong lady and it just tickled me that todays youth still has some hard workers left, I just cant seem to forget my few visits.... I highly recomend this resturaunt
Typical American diner fare, slightly high prices.
Decent breakfasts available all day, though a meal for one can easily top $10, slightly high for an experience of this type. Friendly servers in a cozy train-themed location that's a bit hard to find in the QFC shopping complex at 140th Ave NE and Woodinville Duvall Rd.
Like its siblings, this cafe offers tasty shakes as well, and they go well with the sandwiches and burgers on the lunch menu.
Waitress forgot to place order, when reminded, it showed wrong! Coffee luke warm and refills non-existent. Syrup had look, taste and consistency of sugar water. High prices for breakfast...3 average sized pancakes, 2 eggs and 1 (half) sausage for $10. Coffee an additional $1.79. Received wrong bill, in fact, never had a chance to see correct bill before paying. Food bland and over priced. I will never take my family to this restaurant again.
Classic "americana" cuisine.
Like so many other cafes, the Wooodinville Cafe serves the kind of food as most diners we grew up with. However they do an exceptional job.
The Woodinville Cafe is part of a small chain of cafes serving this "diner" cuisine. They serve breakfast all day and the hash browns are the best I've ever had. I have almost every item on the menu and I have yet to be dissapointed.
