Whatever
by nathanp at Citysearch
After reading the reviews on city search I decided to give this place a try. We arrived at closing and the staff was courtious and agreed to serve us which was cool. I thought the staff was great for a place where I'm sure they get paid peanuts. The food however, while not disgusting, was more like something I would expect in SLC or some other land locked city. Seattle has amazing seafood and I seriously doubt this place has any local regulars. It is basically for tourists like myself who decided to roll the dice. I has fish and chips, chowder, and coleslaw. The slaw was fresh but not very good and the rest tasted like it came off a cisco truck which it probably did.
- Pros: location
- Cons: food sucks
HORRIBLE...HORRIBLE...STAY AWAY
by chonpz at Citysearch
i have never been so horrified ...the restaurant was filthy and as i was standing there waiting for my order i actually saw the prep cook eating the leftover right in plain view...could not believe my eyes...
there was tons of garbage on the floor....argh..need i say more ...i don't think this place ir going to be in business much longer... btw the food was terrible..
the ceasar i ordered...most of the lettuce was wilted and the dressing was a cheap vinegrette...also the fish i order was undercooked and the fries were at least a 2 days old...
- Pros: location
- Cons: horrible horrible food...filthy filthy restaurant...
Beware of the salmon and chips
by tgyosh at Citysearch
Great location but it can get crowded during tourist season. Service was good. The place could have been cleaner, some of the tables weren't wiped down. I ordered salmon and chips. Beware--the batter on the salmon was way too thick and greasy. The batter wasn't cooked all the way through because of the thickness and very doughy. A friend ordered the chicken focaccia sandwich and said it was good. The cod had a thinner, lighter batter and was crispy.
- Pros: location
- Cons: can be crowded, not the cleanest
Best crab cakes and prawns!!
by indiana85 at Citysearch
Nice location, fast service, and excellent food. They have the best crab cakes I have ever ate, and their battered prawns are delicious as well. I've ate there multiple times and the food and service are consistent!
- Pros: Great food, quality, fast service
- Cons: For the price, the portions coulld be a little bigger.
Perfect place on the waterfront
by aleksandr111 at Citysearch
Good clams, tasty chowder and awesome fish tacos. They have pitchers of beer available and outdoor seating. Definitely the best way to spend a summer afternoon in Seattle!
- Pros: Cheap seafood and great beers
- Cons: Too many people know about it! :)
