The Scene – The Pike puts tradition on display with brewing equipment that winds through the open-air space and a Museum Brewery that highlights the history of beer. Patrons can sample distinctive Northwestern ales such as the scotch kilt lifter, the creamy porter and the roasted stout. The bar also offers several guest drafts and carries an impressive range of bottled beers. When it comes to food, the Pike sticks to tried and true pub grub, with many offerings made fresh from Pike Market ingredients.
Great after work hangout
by soundersfan
I love this restaurant and have been a number of times. The beer is above average and the food has been great most times that we have come. The only drawback that it has is the location. It is always such a pain to get down to the market and find parking but when you do this is a great reward. Just remember to ask for the number for the restrooms, I guess that they try to keep it for patrons only but I always forget the number on the way after a few beers.
- Pros: The beer choices and chowder
- Cons: location
Great Atmosphere - Poor Food
by FusmanFamily
We went on a busy Saturday afternoon. After waiting 15 minutes to be seated, we were unfortunately served poor quality food to our child. My son is 5 years old. He ate the chicken tenders and french fries. Within an hour he was sick. After a doctor's appointment, we were told he had bacterial f.p. from eating here. Poor business to serve bad food to kids! Will not be return customers.
- Pros: Fun Atmosphere
- Cons: Poor Food
Don't Eat Here if you have a family!
by FamilyDining
Took a group of friends visiting from D.C. Thought this would be a great way to show them Seattle.
The automatic gratuity for a 'large group' should have tipped us off because we were only 8 people. 4 of which were little kids.
Once ordering food, it was VERY hard to get our waitress to bring anything extra (like a refill of water while choking on spicey dinner).
The food was about a 3 star, out of 10. Most of our dishes were way over priced, and 2 dishes came out less then satisfactory. Salmon was dry, rice was under-cooked, fries were soggy.
Not to mention....how does a kid-sized mac n' cheese cost $14.95?
The highlight? Mini Doughnuts afterwards. They are at the top of the stairs on the street.
- Pros: Great Location, Cool decore
- Cons: Everything Else
