Editorial Review for Piroshky Piroshky – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Linger outside this tiny Pike Place Market storefront to watch capable hands kneading dough for a savory piroshky or folding in apples and sprinkling cinnamon for one of many sweet pastries. The bakery cases in the store are always filled, but work continues at the window throughout the day as this is among the most popular street food in the Market. The smoked salmon variety lends a local flavor to the hearty piroshkys.

During my 6 day stay in Seattle, I've had Piroshky Piroshky for breakfast almost every morning. The pastries were so irresistible and they were very tasty. They don't skimp on the filling and the filling was so flavorful. They have everything from meat, veggies, and dessert pastries. I like their meat pastries better (my personal preference), oh and you got to try the smoked salmon pate. Individual pastry was huge and reasonably priced. The service was pretty quick in spite of the long lines. A visit to this place is a must.

Pros: Tasty pastries irresistible......................

This is one of those rare places where you really can't go wrong with anything you choose. A myriad of piroshky choices, all freshly baked daily. Fresh, quality fillings. The owner is very personable and is eager to share stories from his homeland.

Pros: Piroshkies, Value, Friendly Owner
