Editorial Review for Baby & Co. – by Citysearch Editors
In Short
Owner Baby (yes, her real name) has traveled extensively, checking out style vibes worldwide to fill her shop with women's wear--diaphanous duds from hard-to-get European designers. The rich colors and unique fabric designs are what separate this shop from all the Belltown lemmings along 1st Avenue. Many of these pieces are real works of art, incorporating hand-dyed, one-of-a-kind textile designs and delicate layering techniques.

This store is fabulous. They carry lines that are hard to find but great and edgy. I try to get to Seattle at least once a year to shop here. Only other store in my travels that has some of what Baby and Co. carries is in Santa Fe. A must stop.
Pros: lines carried, friendly staff

I live in Los Angeles where style doesn't exist in the stores so I have to travel elsewhere to find nice clothes. Baby & Co is AMAZING. It's possibly my favorite store in the country. They have labels rarely found in the US. The salespeople are so much help. I can't wait for my next trip to Seattle to go here.
Pros: selection of hard to find labels, beatiful classic yet 'different' clothing
Cons: a bit pricier than most stores in Seattle but it's because they have amazing french lines
