Went in for a drink, stayed for the food. The menu has changed since the Blowfish days, for the better. The menu is more diverse, and the fresh sheet rocked. The small plates have always been good, but the entrees now have caught my attention, The thai noodle dish was great, and the asparagus beef blew me away. Even the dessert were good, like the chocolate heaven cake. The ambience was not intimate but fun, lots of energy in the place. I look forward to going back and seeing what they do next.
Busy, but worth it. This place is usually bustling, but their creative drink list makes it worth the wait. It's a great place to unwind and people watch, but without the "scene" that you'll find at other bars. Parking can be tricky, but if you work downtown you're set.
GREAT menu!. Went to Dragonfish recently for the first time for dinner. I can't eat much, as I recently had surgery, so we ordered from the Dim Sum menu which is on the dinner menu. There were 3 of us in our group. The waiter was great in describing how their menu works -- family style -- and making recommendations on how much to order for 3 people. We tried 5 items from the Dim Sum menu, which was just perfect. All foods were excellent, and the pricing was good as well. I just wish I hadn't waited so long to dine there!
Culinary Delights. My wife and I went with an out-of-town friend on a Friday night and were totally satisfied with our dining experience. Our friend has travelled all over the world and eaten at some very highly regarded restaurants. He was extremely impressed with the whole experience. The food was very creative, and everything we had came to the table in a timely manner hot from the grill or skillet. The waiter was very helpful, but never intrusive. Overall a wonderful dining experience.
Seattle's best.... I have tried many of asian restaurant in Seattle. Dragonfish is the best place for Lunch, Dinner, Happy Hour, etc. by far. Interior, food, price, service....and so on. I will definitely come back soon, probably today!!! Only one thing I felt was restroom on 2nd floor. But, hey, who cares? It's the best Asian Restaurant in Seattle.
Divine food. I enjoyed lunch at Dragonfish....wonderful blend of Asian cuisine with excellent service and attentiveness to detail. Server was very knowledgeable. Dessert was great too....banana ice cream on a warm summer day in Seattle was divine.
WOW!.
We ate at dragonfish on last friday. Although restaurant was pretty busy, our servers took care of our table very well. Food were excellent. We tried some DIM SUM plates(server said their version of dimsum, not neccesarry same as chinese restaurant. Flavor were very diverse and enjoyable compare to going to china town restaurant who use a lot of MSG(all dises taste same).
It became our favourite restaurant and will come back again and again.
Dim Sum Brunch!. I went to the Dragonfish for Sunday Dim Sum brunch with eight friends. The food and service were excellent. It was great to order so many duffernet dishes at such a good value. I love the wasabi bloody mary. I would highly recomend this to anyone
Pretty good Asian food. The ambiance at Dragonfish was great, we got together 5 friends for drinks and appetizers and had a lovely night. It's a nice stop on your way to a night out.
