Ok food and terrible service. The service is really what drags this place down more than anything else. The food is decent but nothing that special.

Two thumbs down.....

Poor service, sub-standard beef. We arrived before going to the theatre. Service was lackluster and the beef was gristle quality. If you want to try different kinds of sake they have quite a collection, but if you want good beef go somewhere else!

I love this place!. I eat here every time I go to the Paramount Theater which is pretty often to see shows over the last few years and this place is so fast and the food is really good! Just went again had tickets to Xanadu and the server was so friendly and fast and we ate like $60 worth of sushi ...we were really in the mood LOL and it all came out fast and fresh! They make good drinks here too! This place is always packed so make a reservation and far as I am concerned if your going to a show at the Paramount try this place!! Yum!

Avoid this restaurant. On a recent visit my appetizer arrived AFTER I had finished my entree. I complained about the service and I was asked to leave the restaurant and not return.

Dissapointed. A friend and I decided to take our best friend to Dragonfish for her birthday dinner.(we had never been before.)

We did not wait long to sit, even thought it was a saturday evening. We sat at a great table outside, had ballons and gifts and informed our server that it was our friends birthday.

Let me just say that I have worked in a resturant before, I know that it is definitly not easy, however the neglegence and disrespect that our server gave us was so incredible that for the first time in my life, I did not tip on the bill.

I was horrified. The food all came out at different times, we had to beg for water, and it took us literally 25 minutes to get our check. I had to walk inside and ask the hostess if we could please get our check and leave the resturant! I will never waste my money or time there ever again. I have now had several friends also try this cafe and they have also agreed the service was terrible.

As a side note to those willing to try it still:

The food was pretty decent, and there was plenty of variety on the menue, the portions of the entrees were just "ok" and the prices are not unreasonable.

Poor service. I was really excited to come try this place out and I finally had the chance to. When I got there everything was fine at first than I began realizing the slow service and the slow manager working at the time. Trying to get the waitress's attention was a nightmare!

The presentation of their food was really nice thought, but the taste was mediocre nothing special, if you want to try head for the 30% off tab times at least you won't fee like it wasn't a complete waste.

I will not being going back there fore sure!

Great Happy hour!!. Great place to get sushi! I am always looking for places that have sushi and have other options as well for my husband who does not eat sushi...this place fit the bill! The food was great and the atmosphere was 'upscale cozy'. Get there early, the happy hour seating fills up fast!

Way Overrated!. First of all the staff was horrible. The server ran to our table & started speaking even before he reached us speaking at a 1000 words per second. His first line was "what would you like?" in .2 seconds. Feeling rushed, I quickly ordered & he bolted off faster than he even arrived.

The great thing was that the food came out within 5-7 minutes. I was really impressed with that, but that is where it would end. I have had better spicy crab & california rolls at Safeway in the deli aisle. All the rolls were premade earlier in the day & the avocado had turned brown. Also the ingredients were all soggy. The chicken potstickers literally tasted just like the frozen cheap ones at Costco, but less tasty.

Not only were the rolls bad, they only came with only 3 small pieces each. For $3, it's not much of a happy hour deal. I definitely recommend Wasabi Bistro or Umi over this place. Though they may take longer, at least they make the food when you order it & not just chill it for hours premade.
