The place for Pelmeini

this is a wonderful little cafe in pikes place market. they have very authintic russian food. its not far from pirosky pirosky and they have more than just piroskis. They have very authintic and excellent pelmeini, borscht and alot of those really wonderful russian salads. It has a nice family run atmospher to it, and the staff are very helpful. they cook the food right in front of you. Excellent prices and they are pretty quick - i can eat there on a half hour lunch break.

Great piroshkies, low prices

If you love the Russian meat- or veggie-stuffed breads called piroshky, or want to give them a try, this is the best choice in town. Bypass "Piroshky Piroshky" a block away and come here instead. Huge portions, very solid quality, friendly staff, and (given the portion size) near give-away prices. Very cheap! I also recommend their very good soups. The dumpling dishes are not as good. I eat here regularly and recommend it heartily. Plenty of tasty vegetarian selections too. Convenient location in the Market, but hard to spot tucked away in a back hallway. Look for it; it's worth the effort.
