This used to be a go to for housemade sausages and pretzels but with a remodel it's now a perfect spot to enjoy lunch at the communal table. Don't miss the potato salad.

A little slice of Europe in the middle of Pike Place Market, this newly expanded space is packed with incredible food, especially the housemade sausages and exceptional potato salad, red cabbage and cheese you won't find anywhere but The Continent. In 2013, the deli will begin offering dishes that can be enjoyed while sitting at the brand new counter. Don't be surprised if the German-speaking ladies who run the place offer you a wiener!
Mmm.... meat..
Smells of smoked meats hit you when you walk in the door. An incredible amount of German groceries are available... spaetzle, pickles, herring, sauerkraut.
We tried one of the smoked spicy sausages, and the lovely lady behind the counter gave us a free wiener to try. Delicious, with a great snap to the casing.
Satisfy a craving for authentic Teutonic tastes at this German market known for having some of Seattle's best wurst..
In Short
Smoky, old-world aromas pervade this Deutsch-style deli, a destination for fans of German sausage products tucked in a small arcade across the street from Pike Place Market's "main drag." There's plenty of brock and brat wurst under the glass, but don't be fooled by the name; a bevy of Bavarian products other than meat, including cheese, sauerkraut, bread - even German soaps and shampoos - fill the shelves.
