Peaceful. Not only are all of the beverages, whether they be espresso, chai, hot chocolate, or something else (AG serves beer and wine) served with great care, but the ambience is soothing and peaceful. Fresh flowers, burning candles, and the music of the two fountains makes this espresso shop very different from every other net cafe that I have patronized. The 20 minutes I spend there between busses gives me a sense of calm that lasts through the day.

Fine Espresso, Art, and Artifacts. Amid all the medicore coffee downtown there is this excellent shop where the espresso is prepared as much artistry as the folk art that adorns the wall.

Part art gallery and part Internet Cafe, Ancient Grounds serves both Vivace and Lighthouse coffees the right way, making it the BEST ESPRESSO DOWNTOWN.

Check it out next to the Art Museum on University and 1st Ave, you won't be dissapointed.
