This was a great place to stay. Hot
breakfast in the morning, wifi, nice part of town. You can get up early and head down to Pike Place Market with a short walk.

A hostel is a hostel is a hostel..
The Scene
If you remember that hostel you stayed in when you backpacked through Europe, you already know this place. Like most hostels, it's in a great central location close to landmarks like Pike Place Market, Seattle Art Museum and Benaroya Hall, as well as Pioneer Square and Belltown. Be careful: Parts of Second Avenue can get dodgy after dark.
The Details
Dorm rooms sleep eight people, and instead of the group shower facilities found in so many hostels, the Green Tortoise has 11 private shower rooms on each floor. There's also a narrow second-story deck overlooking the parking lot. Free dinner is served three nights a week, and the doors remain open during the day. Expect fun, friends and the standard-issue carpet that looks like the cat threw up on it. In short, all the little details that hostelers have grown to love.
