Best place to live but rude management. Its the best place to live in Seattle Downtown. Its little expensive but very well located.

The management staff may be rude. My experience with one of the leasing agents (Lily) was horrible. She does not know the solution but still trying to repeat the problem statement again and again and not ready to listen. the earlier agent() was super nice, but she quit after a while. She clearly mentioned the policies.

Parking lot is very Unsafe. Someone broke into my car and took away GPS and FM transmitter and $7 cash.

The concierge staff is nice.

cons

arrogant management (gets worse as I got close to renting)

frequent service disruptions (7 days in 2007 without electricity, 10 days out in 2006 because of a fire)

toilet bowls perineally clogged.

Nestled in an ultramodern apartment community, elegant country touches ease the urban bustle around this lower downtown inn.. In Short
With just 20 rooms, the Inn at Harbor Steps books up well in advance, especially on weekends. Rooms are warmed by fireplaces and floral quilt bedspreads, while entryway security further the urban scene. In the morning, guests awake to a lavish buffet breakfast served in the cozy dining room. Well-screened from First Avenue's mayhem, the inn faces the Harbor Steps courtyard garden, and the Seattle Art Museum and Benaroya Hall are literally just steps away.

Best Location in Seattle. I have lived at Harbor for three years and can't imagine moving. The location and services rival that of any great city, including New York & Chicago. Yet it's located in one of the most beautiful states in the country.

Inn To Relax At. This is a terrific hotel.

Part of a high rise apartment complex but with only 25 rooms on the first 2 floors it has the feel of a more intimate inn. It is located 2 blocks from the Pike Place Market and two blocks from the waterfront. Very clean and modern. The staff is helpful and the extra touches put it a step above your run-of-the-mill downtown hotels. Extras such as the larger bathrooms, fireplace in each room, wet bar with complimentary soft drinks, morning hot breakfast and afternoon wine, cheese, and cake was superb! Top rating to Janice who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was special.

Small and cozy. This place is small, right near the Art Museum in a lovely location. While the staff are not always the most efficient, they are well-intended and friendly. My parents stayed there this summer and raved about it. (You want your folks to be pleased...) Pretty room with fireplace, large sitting area, and spacious bath. Breakfast w/hot food included in room rate. (If they stayed at the Alexis, a block away, I would their breakfast would add $30 to the tab each day.) I will be putting them up here again.

Ms.. This Inn is a true diamond in the rough: a friendly, luxurious (but not pretentious), romantic (but functional enough to appeal to the business traveler) Inn at a prime location in the heart of a bustling city. The rooms are beautiful and all the touches that one loves about a cozy Inn or luxury hotel are included in a price that offers great value: turn down service w/chocolates, wine & cheese in the afternoon, a delicious full breakfast buffet in the morning, access to indoor pool, hot tub & gym, gorgeous down duvets, some rooms with Jacuzzi baths, etc. I have recommended this Inn to many, and it is my home-away-from-home when I want to spend the night in the city just steps from most of Seattle's major theatres and concert halls. Plus, the staff is wonderful and guests are made to feel more like family!

awesome family vacation. I am a frequent visitor to Seattle and have stayed in some of Seattle's finest hotels. Recently, myself and my family stayed at the Inn at the Harbor Steps and throughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and masterfully decorated. We enjoyed the gourmet breakfast and the wine and cheese in the library for the afternoon tea. The hotel's location allowed us to easily experience much of Seattle's charm as the hotel is a short walk to the Waterfront, Pike's Place Market and Pioneer Square. Without question, the next time I visit Seattle I wll be staying at the Inn at the Harbor Steps.
