If you're shopping for presents and in the mood for giving the gift of good hygiene, this is the place to go. The Soap Box jumped on the upscale-soap bandwagon when there were still plenty of vacant seats. For years they've been pushing the finest in private label "lotions, potions and fragrant delights" from around the world. Creaky wood floors and antique cabinets create a European apothecary ambience that makes lingering unavoidable.

Soaps, Lotions & Fragrant Potions. This is a locally owned company that has been in Seattle for over 25 years and is the first real soap store in Seattle. Has the widest variety of products from all over the world as well as custom fagranced lotions & bubble baths. This is the most unique personal care store in Seattle and the surounding area. Its well worth the trip to find one of their 3 stores.

Not run of the mill. Unlike Bath & Body Works and other chain stores, Soap Box carries unusual items from around the world. The selection changes, so repeat visits don't get boring. And they have a frequent-buyer club for the custom-mixed scented items.
