Great acoustics and antique charm make this downtown venue a perennial favorite..
In Short
The Moore is Seattle's oldest theater, an aging beauty that still attracts huge crowds for rock shows and performances. When it opened in 1907, the Moore was world-famous, boasting a grand lobby with mosaic floors, marble and stained glass. The original glamour has faded from hosting nearly a century's worth of traveling musicals and loud bands. The crowd could be metal heads or jazz junkies--the marquee is your best indicator of what kind of vibe to expect.
