Support local coffeehouses. A regular staple for late night treats and rich coffees while in college, we save B&O for special occasions. I'd encourage any Seattlite to check out B&O for special occasion catering before going to bigger, impersonal, out-of-town caterers. It's worth the wait.

Get ready to wait. I'm a pretty laid back guy, but I've been here twice and waited no less than 10 minutes for the waiter/waitress to even take my order. For a dessert and coffee, plan to spend a minimum of 1/2 hour.

The prices are also very high for the quality of desserts, and you don't get very much.

I would recommend the desserts on Broadway, much better.

Great food, not just dessert. I love the food, service and ambience. One of the best dessert in town. Try some of non-dessert dishes. They have some great mediterranean dishes. Absolutely fantastic!

Patchy in Seattle. I was introduced to this place by a local. He spoke the world of it, but I think I have had better. The food is mediocre and the service is patchy. I've been there 3 times, and the service ranges from friendly to downright bad. I think Dilettante Chocolates on Capitol Hill is much better.

Best Hangout.... I frequently visit this coffee house for my daily much needed coffee... They have the best desserts... If you need a place to hang-out and just study for hours on end, this is the perfect place... Bring your notebook computer, cause there is outlets at every table...

Pies of the Gods. Give me sour cream lemon pie or give me--oh, give me anything on B&O's dessert menu and I'll be happy. This is a wonderful, comfy hangout for the non-bar-inclined--a stellar place to chat and sip, read, do homework or just get jumping with a caffeine and sugar fix. It's almost impossible to decide between all the fluffy, creamy pies and cakes and fancy coffee drinks.
