Lovely atmosphere--dress up or not--good for conversation. Service was prompt and polite. Server who did our flambe was exceptionally skilled. Overall, quality of food did not meet my expectation and was overpriced for the lack of quality. We began with a nice bottle of wine (mid-priced, $60-70). Bread was not great--more like wonder white with a nice crust, but the herb spread was a nice touch. Caprese was fresh and beautifully presented. We were expecting the rest of our meal to be the same. Our next course was Dungeness Crab cakes, also beautifully plated, but they were very small, flat, horribly mushy and had no crab favor or texture whatsoever. My husband's gnocchi was very good--spicier than he preferred, but well prepared and I thought correctly seasoned. My linguine putanesca had great flavor, but the pasta was overcooked and the whole thing was kind of a glob on my plate. The sorbet was a lovely touch that not enough restaurants utilize, and should. Even with the lack of quality of 2 out of 4 courses, we decided to go for dessert because we couldn't resist the fun of a tableside flambe. My husband had his heart set on the peaches, I would have preferred the cherries, but agreed to peach. Server did a fantastic job (my husband tipped her $10 in additon to our usual 20%). The preparation of the dessert was classic and would have been perfect except that the peaches had no taste of peach. This is a shame in that there are fantastic Washington and Oregon grown peaches available, even canned, that burst with flavor. Coffee was good.

Pros: ambience; tableside flambe service

Cons: quality of food

My wife and I discovered this charming little dining room from an ad in the program from 5th Avenue Theatre. We made the drive to east lake because it was open late and we were hungry. The first time was amazing and every time since! Over the past two years we have eaten there after every show, symphony, and ballet. We have never had a bad meal and would highly recomond this to anyone.

Pros: Food, Service, Quaint Dining Room

Cons: Have not found any yet!
