weak gyro bad cooks
by greekseattle
Well I just ate there and it was weak. Sliver of onion, no tzasiki , same old meat (greazy and not cooked on the thing that turnspit) Never ate a gyro with no tzaziki and never will again. Greek cafe it says but they don't speak or understand greek. Ta fageto ena skata!
- Pros: fries aren't bad but have msg
- Cons: ta ola

Best gyro in town! I've been a huge fan of gyros since my mom introduced me to them in the 80s. Some of the guys are better at getting the meat just the right temp and crispy on the outside/juicy on the inside, but it's always good. I've even taken to purchasing the tzatziki to go and using it for other stuff at home. YUM! I've tried a couple of other things on the menu, they're not the world's best, but who cares? The Gyros are so good you won't ever want to stray. I'm just one of a group of friend who frequent this place (a couple times a week) and we never get tired of the "same ole same ole".
- Pros: Great Gyros
- Cons: No delivery!
Fresh, Healthy and Friendly - best Gyro I can find in Seattle area
by zowwiegal
I've tried several gyro places and this is the one I always compare them to. This is the best gyro I have found in the Seattle area. Right in the middle of Capital Hill and inside the QFC complex are a couple of great gentlemen who make a fresh and delicious gyro. There's something superior about their pita bread, freshly made sauce and the perfectly seasoned meat that makes this your best bet. Lively atmosphere to people watch at the market or enjoy a quiet back table. I've been to Gyro World several times and it has been consistent in great service and really fresh food.
- Pros: Very fresh, Warm and Friendly Service, Xllent Gyro
- Cons: Only one location :-(
