What's not to like?. The Pizza is probably the best in Seattle. Great selection of beer to compliment the broad choice of pizza toppings. TV's aplenty for watching the game. The service can be slow at times but, the friendliness of the staff, sense of community, ambience, and excellent food easily makes up for it.

More than quality pizza and regional brew, the friendly staff have earned this Eastlake eatery its loyal following.. The Scene
Situated in what some think of as a hidden neighborhood, this Eastlake eatery pulsates nightly with lively banter and good cheer. Open windows during warm months boost the laid-back feel as couples and clusters of soccer players fill the exposed-brick dining room. Servers are in constant motion and may not have time to direct diners to a table, so take charge and find a seat.

The Food
Carb watchers beware; it's hard to resist the specialty breads that flow from the kitchen's wood-fired ovens, especially pazzo bread smothered in pesto, tomatoes and a blend of cheeses. No pasta here, just pizza and personal-sized calzones. Pizzas are loaded with goodies and require two hands or knife and fork. Leave pepperoni and extra cheese behind and try the Bianco pizza layered with chicken, Gorgonzola, sun-dried tomatoes and walnuts. The Vatican calzone--stuffed with pepperoni, salami, chicken and gooey ricotta--is a messy masterpiece.

Warm and friendly. Despite living in Eastlake for almost a year now, last night was my first time in Pazzo's. The smell and heat from the wood burning pizza oven envelopes you like a warm blanket. The interior is comfortable and their are ample TVs when the game is on. I enjoyed Elaine's salad and the pesto-laced bruchetta. My roommate gives the pizza an enthusiastic A rating. Good spot - good grub.

Best calzone ever. Went here last night for the first time to eat, instead of just drinking. :) Split a bambino calzone with my girlfriend. The small dinner salad was very good, with the feta cheese and the good quality lettuce and crunchy crutons. But when the calzone got to our table,I knew it was time to attack. Very good, crunchy outside crust, didnt have to work through a mound of chewy dough like alot of other calzones, great taste as well. All and all a great place, nice atmosphere, fast service. Why cant all resturants be this good? :)

Gotta love the locals. Seriously, where are the editorial reviews. Citysearch can certainly afford to send someone to this Eastlake staple. I can't imagine a night without stopping in for a Hummous plate and a few Luksosowa and Tonics. The atmosphere can't be beat. There is no hint of Seattle pretension here...ever. The service is unmatched anywhere in the city, especially if you sit at the bar and take good care of your bartender...yeah, the guy that looks like he just came from fixing his garage. Buy him a shot of Jaeger.

Awesome pizza. After moving here from near Chicago I've been looking for great pizza and this is it! Whether dining in or picking up Pazzo blows everything else out of the water. Hands down.

Pretty good pizza. Pretty good pizza - interesting combinations on the menu. There is smoking, but it's hard to smell it if you're not at the bar. It can get a little loud here.

Quintessential good pizza. I love this place. Not only is the pizza the best in Seattle, the restaurant is a great atmosphere for the whole family, a date, a business lunch, or whatever!
