don't go - anywhere but here!!!. completely unprofessional, Gene Juarez is all hype and not worth the money!!!

Amazing. I booked the Signature Massage. The beginning foot soak sets the tone for relaxation. The GJSM begins with an exfoliation followed by a Vicey Shower. Isis started by explaining the process and asked me to choose an exfoliant to use. Isis was super discreet. The Vicey Shower was amazing. 14 water jets that wash away the exfoliant. OMG, hard to put into words!

I then met with Heather for my massage. Heather explained everything, gave me oils to smell, and asked me if there were any trouble spots. After the full body massage, including my scalp, I was so relaxed I almost couldn't shower! The pains that I told her about at the beginning of the massage were gone and I was as pliable as putty.

It was definately worth every penny and if I didn't live on the East Coast, would be a place that I would frequent regularly.

HORRIBLE. Never ontime, Never good service, and always inferior work by high attitude stylist....and I gave them 3 times to try to fix my hair...with always a gift certificate rather than money back or an apology...the gift certificate is now used for a coffee coaster...UGHHHHH!

Never again. Trying to find a new salon when you are new to town is excruciating. This salon only perpetuated it. I waited for more than an hour, only to be ignored and rushed in and out. With the price and value I should have went to supercuts.

I love this guy!. I go to the salon in Tacoma , I ALWAYS ask for William , he is a fantastic styist. He friendly , very in tuned to what you want and what you want .

Nice recovery. Last year, this downtown salon somehow missed the booking for a group of 3 friends (myself included). We had foot soaks, and massages scheduled. They were overbooked, but rescheduled us, & still fit us in that day for the relaxing foot soak, hot tea, and use of the european showers. All free of charge. Nice recovery! The return visit was lovely.

not a bad word to say!!!. After trying out a few spas - Gene Juarez was an answer to my manicure prayers. Im as fussy with my nails..and I have never once stressed here. Ive also had waxing and a hair cut--the hair cut left a little to be desired..but you get what you pay for and I was on a budget. I dont like feeling the pressure to tip someone if I am paying through the roof for a job I could of done better myself, Gene Juarez was a breath of fresh air. Tipping is descret, so if you've paid $50 for a service you are not pleased with, there is no need to feel guilty regarding your tip-as no one sees :) having said that, I enjoy leaving a generous tip. I always feel great after leaving and look forward to knowing my next appointment will consistent in regards to my service
