EXTREMLY UN-Professional. I am a job coach and i find people jobs for a living. I found a position at Ken's for a meat cutter and brought a resume to the store in person EIGHT times because the manager was available. I played job tag for 3 weeks and when i finaly did see him he did not seem that interested in talking to anyone about a job. after 3 weeks of showing up at the store and trying to speak meat department/owner i finally get a straight answer from him about the job posting. "we have choosen to keep the butcher that we have now and just use the helper that we have in the ktichen to assist him". aka, there isn't really a job. And they are also remodeling the store which is one reason that the job posting add was listed, they are expanding and will have a bigger meat dept so they need more help. now, all of the sudden they don't, their fine. thanks for the word though! .......

Recommendation-

1) Go to collge

2) Take business communication

3) Use these skils to improve your business

4) be nice to job coaches-they try to help people

I might just make Ken's my main grocer!. Ken's Market is just up the alley from us, and that makes us very lucky. It only took a couple of trips into Ken's for last-minute grocery items to realize that Kan's is a great little neighborhood grocer and so much more! You can't beat their wine selection....no need to go to a separate store, they carry all the amazing, largely unknown but phenomenal labels you're looking for. And, they know a whole lot about them so don't be afraid to ask. Not only that, but when I was calling around frantically searching for rabbit for a Hasenpfeffer recipe, Ken's was the only one (including the specialty markets and big-box grocers) who said to me, "We don't have it, but we can order as much as you need and have it ready for pick-up the next day". Talk about phenomenal customer service!

I can't wait until the expansion is finished; I might just make Ken's my main grocer!

Editorial Review. Locally owned supermarket on top of Phinney Ridge stocks gourmet items and the usual grocery store suspects.

Small store, lots of stuff!. While Ken's Market may be small, they have everything a large supermarket does! Fresh produce, tightly-packed delicious meats, a deli where they serve fresh sandwiches, salads, soups, fries, Italian sodas, desserts, and great coffee! Now that Ken's Market has expanded they offer so much more! Lots of specialty items that not many large supermarkets have. They also are delivered fresh bread daily as well as fresh pastries. Their items can be at times on the expensive side, but you do get what you pay for. Ken's Market employees are all friendly and helpful... I always feel very welcome when I pay them a visit! Ample parking. Great neighborhood store!
