Editorial Review for Mix Ice Cream Bar – by Citysearch Editors

In Short
Employees stand in front of marble slabs where they mash everything from Gummi Bears to graham crackers (called "mix-ins") into ice cream for made-to-order treats. The five flavors of ice cream--chocolate, vanilla, sweet cream, cheesecake and espresso--are made in house. Try a waffle cone with strawberry cheesecake (cheesecake ice cream, graham crackers and strawberries) or a cup of "Jet City Buzz"--espresso ice cream and a shot of espresso.

Unfortunately it has closed and cannot give you any fabolous ice cream:(. However, there are other cafe's and restaraunts that are close by that seem to be very nice.

Pros: Was Great

Cons: Now it is closed

Best place to make your own ice cream or have someone make your ice cream for you. Also the best location because not only are you able to eat ice cream but you are also able to work it all off by walking around the lake while youre at it. Advice: even though a kids scoop looks like it's enough for you just remember that it can only really hold one topping before it's just a bunch of toppings and barely any ice cream. Recommended: Regular scoop with about 3 toppings and you'll get the same amount of ice cream to toppings Best Flavor: Peanut Butter, Rasberries, Sweet Cream ice cream in a waffle cone = PBJ in ice cream form

Pros: Mixing anything up to your liking

Cons: the more toppings you add the more it totally adds up, ice cream and toppings are all charged seperately
