member owned. I shop at PCC mainly for the organic produce as well as the sense of community that comes from being part of a co-operative. I've met some very interesting people at the hot food bar, an unexpected social perk to my shopping experience. They do charge premium prices for the organics, but so does everyone else because organic farms aren't subsidized the way conventional farms are.

Great Market!. PCC can always be counted on for their great deli selection for those days when you just don't feel like cooking. They have fresh, healthy and imaginative entrees and sides (like the Kale Caesar salad) that fill you up with great taste and good nutrients. I love their extensive cheese selection, and they have a nice range of fresh olives as well. Produce is consistently good, and if you're a member you can get 10% off your purchases once a month...can't beat that with a stick!

pricey. parking can be a pain the the deli prices are sky high. good selection but this is just like Whole Paycheck....
