Handmade cards and carefully chosen home accesories are why I visit but they also have a nice selection of boots and clogs.
Stingy Return Policy. I purchased a defective item from this store (a cool old fashioned phone attachment to a cell phone). It was pricey ($50) but seemed worth it for the cool factor. However when I got it home it turned out to work only one way (people calling could hear me, but I couldn't hear them). I returned to the store looking for a refund but was told store credit was my only option. This seems unreasonably stingy to me considering I bought the item with the clear expectation that it would work. Even after demonstrating to the sales person the phone's defect using both the model I bought and a seperate model in the store I was still told (and now quite rudely) that my only option was an exchange. I have no use or interest in the other overpriced items in the store, what I could use is my $50 back.
Terribly unprofessional. Not family friendly. A salesperson made a mean and unprofessional comment to me about my child. He had a point, although his approach was totally inappropriate and unprofessional. He could have said what he needed to in a kind way -- it's called customer service. When I left I felt like I had been in a fight. They've lost my business and my recommendation.
BEST PLACE IN FREMONT!!!. This is such a cool place!! They have great leather boots and clogs!! The outside of this store is amazing!! The corner of the building has like a rocket ship thing and they painted the outiside pink with flowers. My mom and I always have a good time in this store.
Fremont flea-market shopping goes shabby chic in this funky home furnishings and "found objects" boutique..
In Short
The goods go way beyond the standard issue seen at similar boutiques and fit owner Kathy Faulk's "If it's cute, I want it" philosophy. This is a great place to shop for the person who has everything. Browsers will find shabby-chic furniture, tableware, vintage glassware, retro alarm clocks, trendy coffee-table books, journals, handmade greeting cards, jewelry, candles and eclectic, decorative items such as ivory pomanders hand-carved from wood pulp.
Creative Kathy.
Next time you are in this store ask the owner about hyper-color. Kathy Faulk is the creator of the wonderful heat changing fabric we used to love. Kathy has so many creative ideas and a real sense of "I just have to have that".
Congratulations on being chosen, Kathy.
A Fabulous Find. This store has a little of everything and it's all good! Staff is very helpful. Wonderful selection of chic makeup and accessories. Great eclectic shopping experience.
hip and unpretentious. Great gift boutique in Fremont. I especially love their selection of cards. They seem to be the first ones in town to get lots of hip, new goods. Sales staff is not snobby--unlike some other local stores.
