Happy Hour

by kierandeguzk

A friend and I dined at the rusty pelican for a late lunch and loved it! As soon as we walked through the door we were greeted with friendly and cheerful service. Once we sat down I was caught off guard by the happy hour menu. With the purchase of a draft beer, wine, or mixed drink any selected entree, and appetizers on the happy hour menu is $ 2.50. Some of the highlights from the menu include Fish Taco and fries, Buffalo wings, and chicken quesadilla. Besides the happy hour the Rusty Pelican offers an immense selection on their regular menu that is sure to have something that you would like. I ordered a draft beer and the fish taco from the happy hour menu. The fish taco was made with grilled cod, served with lettuce, diced tomatoes, mango salsa, and a side of fries. The fish taco was delicious, the mango salsa added good flavor however the entree was a little small for a full meal. For 5 dollars it is a bargain, If you are looking for a quick relaxed cheap eat I recommend Rusty Pelican?s happy hour from 3:00-6:00 P.M.

  • Pros: Solid happy hour
  • Cons: Could be overwhelmed by the ambiance

lovely breakfast

My extended family met here on a whim one Sunday. We couldn't have been happier with the experience. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere was relaxed and not too quiet (we had 4 kids with us). A pleasant experience all the way around.

  • Pros: prompts seating and service, friendly atmosphere, very good food

Best everything, I've NEVER had a bad meal any time of the day.

The service is excellent. The servers are polite and prompt, and just attentive enough to not make you feel pestered. Their food all tastes fresh and home cooked...and don't even get me started on the desserts...heavenly! I always take out of town guests here...they all wish they had a place like this back home. LOVE IT! :)

  • Pros: Great food, service, environment
  • Cons: Wish there were more parking
