Costa Opa's Time Has Passed. What a location. Perhaps once upon a time this was classic Greek dining. Today it is nothing more than a cheap place to fill your gullet. Greasy food, canned green beans the food is not from 21st century Seattle, rather it is 1970 mid-America. The bathrooms were filthy too. I can only imagine what the two electric organs must be used for. Dueling Greek piano night anyone?

Great food but service is a hit and miss. I've been going to Costas Opa for about 10 years now. The food is always so good no matter what I order. I love the soups, potatoes, lamb and hummus! The servers are always not so friendly but have a good knowledge of the menu. The last time I had my family there, the hostess was rude and the server ignored us and forgot our pita bread after we politely reminded her 4 times. The pita bread is awesome though!

No better Greek food in Seattle!!. This is mine and my husbands most favorite restaurant in Seattle, no, make that Washington! The atmosphere, service, and food are so great that I had my wedding reception here. All of my guests (which included some VERY picky eaters) fell in love with everything about this place. I could not possible speak any higher praise about this restaurant! Opa Indeed!!!

Great place for great greek food!!. Being greek myself i rarely choose to go to greek cuisine because i can get it from my family but when me and a couple friends finally decided on costas opa it was a decision i did not regret at all! we were told to try the saganaki appetizer, a flaming cheese dish lit right at your table and it was to die for!!! and that was just the beginning, the kalamari rings, mousaka, gyros, avgo soup and especially the souvlaki!

i will definitely be back many a times!!!! LOVE IT!

Waste of time & money. I've lived close to the restaurant as long as I can remember and never tried it. Well, I recently dined in there for the first time with a friend and will not be back again. We got there and the environment gets everything off to a good impression, not amazing but lots of eclectic cultural decor. We were seated and ended up sitting there for a while waiting for our server. A woman came over and asked what we wanted, I got an iced tea (which was a great floral blend, by the way, not black tea like most places), but before my friend said what she wanted the woman walked off! (And no, they weren't busy, there was 1 other table there and it was before the dinner rush.. not even close to closing or anything) So the person who ended up being our server, a different woman, came up and took our order about 5 minutes later or so.. she was pretty nice and seemed to have good menu knowledge. We got our appetizer about 10 minutes later, still no iced tea. I eventually asked our waiter for it and she said she didnt hear me order it, and I had to point out she didnt ask to take our drink order at all and it was a different woman.

My food was recommended by the server, but it was only okay.. vary bland (beef & lamb gyro). Lots of it, though. My friend's order wasn't what she asked for or what the waiter said she was going to get. She tried it, hated it, and told the only waiter we could see (our original drink taker) what the problem was. In the middle of explaining it, she turned away from her and walked away, again!! They brought it out, and again, it was the same problem. We gave up, had our food boxed.. paid and left.

Everything was overpriced, they milked as much as they could get away with for each dish in my opinion.. There were other problems but there's a character limit on this. I'd also like to mention I'm a server at a restaurant myself, not one of those snoody people with crazy requests. So was my guest. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
