tons of plump blueberries and lots of banana and the additio. The pancakes were great -- tons of plump blueberries and lots of banana and the addition of the real maple syrup was a solid choice. We were both very happy with our food and saw a number of other new and old items on the menu that we'd like to try
Great for kids--fun cow paraphernalia. Great breakfasts. Huge portions. Great for kids--fun cow paraphernalia. Waitstaff can be slow at times.
nobodies in a hurry kind of place, so just relax and enjoy y. This is based on breakfast- food is good, food is BIG- omelettes are sized for lumberjacks. Service can be really slow; I figure it's a neighborhood, nobodies in a hurry kind of place, so just relax and enjoy your company. Absolutely love what they have done with the ladies room decor!
The best is to sit in the cave or mouth booth. The BEST breakfasts around, and served with granola funk. The best is to sit in the cave or mouth booth. Both are fun for kids too. Great huevos rancheros. They also roast their own coffee which is yummy!
Go when you have time to spend, not a place for a rushed bre. Great coffee, great scrambles, great portions, great smoothies, great cinnamon rolls, great atmosphere (love the cow booths). Go when you have time to spend, not a place for a rushed breakfast. Nothing better than flipping through the stranger with a cup of their coffee waiting for the fantastic meal you're about to have
I love the theme. gigantic breakfast portions -- almost too much of a good thing. Prepare to wait for a table on the weekends, if you're lucky you'll get the "udder booth".
We always come home to Mae's. I've been in the restaurant business 25 plus years and breakfast is the most demanding meal service and Mae's is always perfect. We have tried a few other brunch spots but we always come home to Mae's
Great place to grab a bite with friends. I've been going to Mae's since I was a kid, and the food is so consistently fabulous that its still my favorite brunch spot. Whether you're dining with your family, nursing a hangover or just looking for a great place to grab a bite with friends, Mae's is your best bet in Seattle, bar none (And I've eaten there in all those circumstances.). I introduced my boyfriend (now husband) to the place a couple years back, and he loved it just as much as I do. I knew then that he was a keeper. The service is awesome--so friendly and down-to-earth. It's like having brunch at a favorite aunt's house--Aunt Mae!
When we come in we are always greeted with a smile and a wa. We have been coming to Mae's for nearly two years, mostly for brunch on the weekends but sometimes I'd sneak up for breakfast by myself. The service and food are just over the top. When we come in we are always greeted with a smile and a wave. They always remember my coffee drink and are sincerely interested in what's going on with us. We're the table the waitstaff wants to chat with.
