AMAZING! I l Good Sushi. Everything about this restaurant is AMAZING! I love the friendly environment and tasty sushi. Its clean, and casual-- a great place to go out with the husband for dinner, or lunch with my friends. Their teriyaki chicken is the best chicken I have ever had in my life! The seafood selection is great and very fresh, and their is a wide variety of things to try. The fact that they deliver is fantastic, especially on the nights where I'm too lazy to drive myself over there! (And it's free when your order is over $15!)

You should go somewhere else for sushi.. We went to Mori after reading the City Search reviews, expecting good sushi. What we got was bad food & worse service. First, we arrived at the restaurant, placed our orders, and then proceeded to wait 1 hour before getting our food. While waiting, no one came by to check on us, or even explain why it was taking so long. I'm not sure if they were understaffed, but it was a problem. Then, when the food arrived, it wasn't good, it wasn't even fresh. My friends & I will never go back there again. It's terrible sushi at a fairly high price. There are many other places like Umi Saki House, Musashi's or Kisaku that I'd recommend going to if you want GOOD sushi.

Yummy Rolls. I've had sushi from all over the place and found this place to be yummy. I would recommend checking it out because the rolls are fresh and made to order. The wait staff was very friendly and not in the annoying way of asking you questions every couple of bites. The place does look a little worn down but if your like me the food will overcome everything in the surroundings. I had the spicy tuna and the alaska maki and both were very flavorful and lived up to the freshness stated in other posts. I enjoyed how the spicy rolls had a slight kick that was very enjoyable. I live over in greenlake and they said that they were willing to deliver to my place so the next time I might enjoy this yummy sushi in.

Delivery Sushi - Nirvana has been Attained!. Mori has somehow managed to combine two concepts near and dear to my heart - DELIVERY and SUSHI. Mmmmmmmmmm......

My beau is not a huge fan of sushi, so I don't eat it nearly as much as I'd like to (say, once a day....). Because of this, we don't tend to seek out sushi when we do eat out, so I'm not well-versed on the Seattle sushi scene.

However, a few months back while the beau was out of town, I had a huge hankering for some raw fish and seaweed. I headed for my laptop hoping against hope that I could find a decent sushi place in the neighborhood because while I was indeed craving sushi, I was also feeling unbelievable lazy. *Go get food? Huh. No, I think I'll have popcorn for dinner instead.*

I was hitting all the usual on line spots, searching for sushi with good reviews, and BAM! I found sushi (check) in the neighborhood (check) and...what's this? They deliver! Oh miracle of miracles, I think I just heard the angels singing! I burned up the phone lines calling Mori and placing my order.

My delivery order arrived within a half-hour and the delivery person was courteous and friendly. After closing the door and temporarily setting down my to-go boxes in order to do an impromptu happy dance, I tucked in to wonderful, fresh, and flavorful sushi. I have since ordered delivery sushi from Mori several times and it's always been a great experience.

The only thing I would suggest to make the experience absolutely sublime: Mori should look into on line ordering. Oooh, the thought just makes me swoon.

Editorial Review. Inexpensive sushi, tempura, yakisoba and other Japanese standards make this Greenwood institution a local favorite.

Stellar. My new favorite Japanese restaurant. The staff is extremely courteous and the food is excellent. Mid-range price, if you just want sushi there are some cheap options.

In terms of entrees I recommend the NY steak or the Yakisoba.

Great sushi. We walked all over the Greenwood/Phinney area looking for some food, we were going to have Greek, but remembered that we wanted to try the sushi place on 85th. Boy were we delighted in what we found. The sushi was nicely prepared, and the fish was fresh! We ordered tons of sushi. The price wasn't too bad. All of us walked out stuffed, and happy. Our favorites, was the Dragon Maki roll, Toro special roll, Alaska Maki roll, and the Red Heat roll. There is a bit of a wait on sushi, but worth it. After all, it's made fresh to order. Though, some people may be turned off, by the wait once seated. The menu is extensive with tons of items, so it might be a bit overwhelming to first time dwellers like us. I greatly recommend this gem of a place. We surely will be back!!!!

mori japanese restaurant. The sushi was ok. Surprisingly expensive and the nigiri came in single pieces rather than in two's. everyone should check it out.

Best Japanese Food in Greenwood & Ballard. Master sushi chef, along with great fish makes this an excellent choice for anyone in Seattle. It's worth the drive long or short. Stop in and try, you will not be disappointed.
