The Scene – Murphy's reigns as a hangout for locals and a destination for visitors to the neighborhood. A fake fireplace sits in the middle of the room, facing a conversation area with big, comfy chairs that are the choice spot for listening to music from the small stage. Behind the bar, there are 22 taps featuring mostly Northwest brews and fresh, hand-pumped Guinness, as well as a stock of Irish whiskeys. – – The Draw – The place is usually hopping, especially on Fridays and Saturdays when there's live music from traditional and contemporary Irish acts. Murphy's Pub

by Teddybr at Citysearch

Murphy's Pub is a great neighborhood bar. Our waitress was very attentive to our 10 people table. The food was great and it actually came at a decent time. The restaurant was clean. They also got a great patio if you want to catch some sun. Overall, it was a good feeling experience. I would defi. recommend Murphy's to my friends.

very friendly staff and funny

I was there 2 weeks ago with friends from out of town. We had a blast! The waitress was very friendly and helpful. The place was very easy to find. Murphys was busy that night so it took a little long to get our food, I guess that's to be expected when they are busy. We had a lot of fun there. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Rude service, downhill all the way, - what did happen to this formerly great place?

by klaa at Citysearch

I used to go to Murphy's often in the "old days", and had a great time. We went there the other night before a movie, and couldn't believe the rude behavior of both the waitress and bartender. The place was practically empty, and now I know why. Sadly, nothing to recommend any more.

One of the best neighborhood pub in the Wallingford area.

by keeleyweston at Citysearch

Murphy's Irish Pub is one of the best pub in the Wallingford area. We had a birthday party there and it was a blast. I had their fish and chips and it was fantastic. They also have many many different beers on tap. The waitress was very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was quite nice.

  • Pros: Great food , great people and great atmosphere
  • Cons: not very many parking spaces
