I love shuffleboard and I don't care who knows it. And even if you don't you'll want to visit this room for the excellent and well priced collection of craft beers. But not to worry if PBR is your thing you can grab one for just a buck fifty daily 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Someone (who knows how) needs to report Duck Island as OPEN so they remove the closed tag on Citysearch.
Great beer.
I go to the duck every now and then for a contrasting experience: great beer and terrible service.
The bar is legendary for having fantastic beer selection and less than genius tenders. For example, about two years ago J.R. thought my wife was mentally retarded. Why? Because she has a Spanish accent. No joke. He actually said that. Which was so ludicrous it wasn't even offensive - the guy obviously had problems interacting with rational thought and people.
But - it seems like things have changed. I want to applaud you for hiring Adam. As an ambassador of quality beer and service he is top notch. Between him & Jackie I actually feel that the service staff is starting to match up to the beer itself, and the Duck might just merge into the list of places I go regularly rather than a place I'm willing to go if I have to. Good job!
Beer Galore. Seriously, great beer, great service, great food. Definately check this place out for a cool place to spend an evening and try some awesome beverages!
Editorial Review by Billy Gil. Beer enthusiasts flock to this bar daily for microwbrews--beer and only beer.
