Rude owner. I find this place to be a not a kid friendly place for such a kid friendly neighborhood. Each time I have been in there with my (well behaved) kids, the owner always tells them not to touch something, which I find rude and passive aggressive b/c he can just ask me instead of barking at small children who are just plainly curious of all the little eye leveled toys and kid type things in the shop.

Happy customers come in asking for that particular card, wrap, ribbons & gifts. The variety of cards he carries are the best I've ever seen. Always happy to help you find that special item or create a special theme for your party his never ending resourcefulness never ceases to amaze me, and he's always in a good mood. I highly recommend taking a trip to visit this store. I guarantee you won't leave empty handed.

Great gift shopping in 1 fun place!. Wow! What a find! Fun window displays pull you in to the most complete gift/card shop in North Seattle. I am back to buying cards off the rack instead of impersonal ecards! So many great gift items, it is the perfect place for one stop shopping. And after I selected my gift.... the owner wrapped it for me! What a fun place!

A great neighborhood card shop.. This is a great Phinney Ridge card shop. They have a good card and wrapping paper selection, as well as candles, candy, and gifts. The people are friendly and professional. They take credit cards, and have a punch card system for frequent customers. I highly recommend Metropolis!
