The Scene – This airy Fremont store owes its distinctly European look to owners Jim and Becky Buford, who built it as a beauty products-oriented counterpart to Les Amis. Jim designed the place, from the elaborate iron jewelry cases to the rakishly conceived counter. The stone fountain in the center of the store burbles country French elegance. Best Place to Indulge the Senses

Follow your nose....as you walk down 35th street in quaint Fremont you'll be led straight to Essenza. By far the most beautiful store I've ever had the pleasure of stepping foot into. You'll be romanced by it's old world charm and enchanted by all of the luxury products so beautifully displayed. Hands down the best parfumery I've been in even better than the european one's I've visited. Find out how much better scent is when it's blended by a real parfumer and not filled with imitation scents but rather authentic essences. Some favorites are Diptyque, Serge Luten, L'artisan & Carthusia. The bath products will make your senses hungry for more. Try the hamman bath soak by Red Flower and the Sake bath by Fresh and your sure to be transported into another world. Not to mention the stunning jewelry from local and other US designers...especially Jamie Joseph our own fabulous creator of the most stunning gemstone jewelry! I could go on and on clearly. You must go in and have some time so you can puruse.

I have shopped at Essenza over the years and it is one of my favorite shops in Seattle. The staff is friendly and helpful but they don?t hover ? even when you lather yourself with the samples of lotions and perfumes. The fragrances are heavenly. The ?lavish yourself in silk and satin? sleepwear is also heavenly. Plus, I have often bought cosmetics there since they have very high quality skincare and makeup products by manufactureres such as ?Fresh? who make two creamy lipstick colors I adore. Best of all, it?s one of my favorite places to buy gifts since the gift wrapping is so lovely. I highly recommend Essenza as a destination shop.
- Pros: Great products, great service, unique items
- Cons: Not inexpensive
