A room with a view of the zoo.. The Scene
This pair of converted 1920s neo-classic apartment buildings is a favorite for people who live in the neighborhood for putting up visiting relatives. One features Federalist architecture and the other Tudor; both have Craftsman interiors and are right across the street from Seattle's Woodland Park Zoo.

The Details
All nine of the rooms in this charming inn feature private baths and wireless DSL service. Four of the spacious rooms in the Main Inn have sitting areas. While the other two are smaller, all are decorated with antiques. The three accommodations in the Chapman House are roomy and feature hand-crafted furniture. The Main Inn's Chestnut Suite has a queen sleigh bed and views of Woodland Park, the Rose Garden and a slice of the Cascade Mountains. The Chapman's Margaret Suite features two beds, a claw-foot tub, and a view of the skyline.
