These guys are shady. They tow cars off city streets without authorization to do so and then lie and say "oh it was in a parking lot" when there arent any parking lots on my street. They get fake witnesses to sign off on tow authorization form. Only police are authorized to tow if your car is on a city street. Even if you are blocking a private driveway. So if you go outside one day and your car is gone, better call Lang Towing. They might have basically stolen your car. Im drawing up papers to sue them right now

crooks and goons. People like this is why our world is today. The prey on parking lots for the car they want to tow and take them even if you are in an authorized parking lot. The owner is a heavy smoker who will continue to blow smoke at you just to irritate a person. He allows employees to smoke in the office which is the most filthiest places I've been in. He is allowing his employees to take cars that have a right to park in an authorized lot and ripping people off for hundreds of dollars. Rude and just plan wrong. Would not let us take anything from our car including much needed medications unless we paid a fee of $100. My stuff had been rifled through and I felt so violated. In the end I am out $459 and a headache. If at all possible watch out in seattles sodo district!!!!

Total Rip-off - uncaring people. I called this company to tow my car with a flat tire off the West Seattle bridge to a nearby tire company - about 3-4 miles. There was snow on the road that day. When I asked how much it would be, they said they didn't know - it depended on time and distance. Well, I just looked at my credit card and they charged me $218. I think this is a totally unreasonable amount for the time it took them. They said they charged everyone that because of the snow. I would have been better off letting the city impound my car. I will not use this company again.

Lang Towing. My car was stolen in 2004 and it had towed by Lang towing. Upon arriving there to get my car, I was greeted by the same greasy guy as described by the first poster. He informed me my car was low on oil and the gas had been drained I asked him how he knew and he just gave me a look like he had said to much. He goes on to to try and sell me some oil and I kindly told him no I have my own. Upon getting into my car I found that the ignition had been pulled out. From my experience it had been pulled out by someone who knew what they were doing. He offers to to put my ignition back in for a 25 dollar fee, again I kindly told him no that I would be doing it myself. When I left the lot I suspected these guys knew more then what they were telling me. I would not recommend using this company

Worst towing company ever!. My car was towed by Lang towing at 11pm on a thursday night. I wasn't able to pick my car up until friday night. When I called the office to arrange to pick up my car the woman on the phone was very friendly. When I got to the lot I was greeted by a filthy old man smoking and taking my money. Every door to my car was unlocked and my car had been ransacked! Evey thing had been gone through and nearly everything of value was stolen out of it, including designer sunglasses, cd's dvd's designer bags, all the change and money that was in the car. Even the gas was on empty when I got it. When I told him that things were missing he yelled at me. Told me there was nothing he could do, despite that fact that I saw my car get put onto the flat bed truck and I would assume it went straight to the lot. He yelled at me and told me to get out.

Anybody know what I can do about this sad excuse for a human and his criminal towing service?

I wouldn't have given them any stars if I had a choice. They're a bunch of thieves and liars!!! Be sure to check your car before you sign for it if you're picking it up from these monkeys.
