This good looking room serves up stellar steaks, sides, wine and desserts 7 days a week. Don't miss the Manhattan, the Bloody Mary, the burger or the happy hour that runs Monday - Friday 3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. when bites set you back just $4- $7.

Steaks are legendary, prime beef cooked with care in chef Eric Hellner's kitchen, accompanied by something from the award-winning wine list. Expensive and worth it. If you're on a budget, go sit in the bar for happy hour. The burger is terrific and the bartenders offer welcome pairing advice.

I'm not the biggest steak fan, but I have had one or two here that nearly converted me. The sides--the gratin, creamed spinach, fried artichokes--are the real deal. If you're really lucky, you can talk the bartender into pouring a little Makers Mark over your MM ice cream, which comes with a huge slice of carrot cake. You won't leave hungry, that's for damn sure. Most of the staff has been around for a decade or longer, which means this is the place to come if you want some of the best service in Seattle. They're pros.

Obviously noted for some of the city's best steaks and chops, also plates up top-notch salad and soups, most notably one of the best Caesars and French onion soups in town. Premium happy hour starting early.
The Met is the Best. The Met has the best steaks, best ambiance, & most exceptional service of any restaurant in Seattle. Yes the prices are high, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.
Everyone's favorite.
I understand that Met Grill has been around for a long time and it's considered almost an institution for many.
But just taking the restaurant and the dishes alone, Met Grill has many short-comings. It is a good steak restaurant, I do not believe it's the best in Seattle.
Excellent Food & Staff -Need I say more!. My husband and I went to the Met for our anniversary dinner last night. What a excellent experience! Our waiter Russell was perfect as was everything he recommended. Our wine steward was also very helpful in suggesting a wonderful cabernet that was very good. From the greeting at the door to the desert everything was just wonderful. The staff along with the food is a perfect pairing. We will definitely be dining here again.
Get your steak here-can't go wrong.. We've been coming here for 10+ years & the quality of food is just as good as before. However, the service was a little off when we were there last week. Our server was too busy with his other tables to get our water glasses filled a few times throughout the dinner, which took over 2 hours total. Overall, I would still recommend this place to anyone that wants a good steak or the best baked potato in town (my wife just loves it to death...)
Best in Seattle!. I took my wife to the The Met for our anniversary and we had a great time! In my oponion this is the best steakhouse in Seattle! You have to try the Chateaubraind steak for 2. It is the best meal on the entire menu!
Superb service excellent food. Ate at the Met last night for a girl's night out with 5 friends. Service was spectacular, food was excellent. We tried everything from drinks and appetizers to the seafood, steak and creme brulee - all were great, especially the creme brulee. Two minor complaints: tables are really awkward, stuffed with every kind of dish, glass and flatware imaginable. Hard to move an inch or find a way to move appetizers around the table. 2nd is valet parking should be free considering how much your bill is going to be. $400 for 6 of us.
