i'm from portland, and i was recently visiting seattle. my friends wanted me to see this library. it is a great tourist stop. I was amazed by the architecture. We took pictures in the neon
escalator, and we went to the top floor behind the elevators is a little square landing you can step out on and look down to the bottom..It's kind of freaky!
they also had a great selection of books. we stayed in the photography section for a while to read and relax.
this is a must see stop in seattle.…
If backed-up next to each other, the 9,906 shelves in this downtown civic institution would stretch over 30 miles..
