Always Fascinating to Shop Here. This is a Seattle Institution. It's fun to browse around and see all the fruits, vegetables and other food items you never knew existed. The food court and take out deli have all types of delicious options.

one-stop shopping for Asian groceries. This is an indispensable, huge Asian grocery store right in the International District with pretty much everything you could possibly want. As a plus, it's in the same building as a very good bookstore (Kinokuniya) as well as a food court with lots of good little restaurants.

My only complaint is that it's a little on the expensive side, almost as expensive as an American grocery store. There are other Asian grocery stores in the Puget Sound area (such as Paldo World and H-Mart) that are much cheaper.

good except Shilla indeed. All the restaurants are ok.. the thai place is fine too.. but NOT shilla.. my god, the last time I went it was terrible.. the food was too salty... and i mean, way too salty

Shilla has horrible service. If you get the kid (young guy) who works Saturdays, expect incredibly bad service. He charged me full price on a meal. Then, after taking my money, he tells me that they do not have the soup that is part of the meal. Didn't even offer to refund. Ridiculous.

Other restaurants treat you well.

The Asian QFC. I love this place because it's pretty much the only clean asian market in existence. There's great variety of all ethnic foods, so you don't have to stop at the special Chinese store, then the special vietnamese store, then the special thai store, then the special american store, to get all of your ingredients. This place is truly a one stop shop! Yes, it's a little bit pricey, but you're saving a lot of gas money and time. There's also a cute little gift shop and book store area that's fun to browse in. Most staff speak pretty good english so can help you find what you need. Seafood selection and quality is excellent.

Love it!. Uwajimaya's is a great place to browse and shop. I like the fact that they have so many different food items to choose from. I also like their wide selection of knick nacks, manga and other magazines, and house stuff. The food court is good...I just love it and miss it.

Good except for Shilla. I end up eating at the food court often as I live close by. The food is good at most places not amazing but good. The glaring exception is Shilla. I love Korean food and this is the worst example I have found. Yummy House has some great treats. I sometimes get the sushi from the deli case which is ok for grocery store sushi but I would think with the amount of traffic they have and that most of the sushi is gone from the case by 6:00 that they could have a sushi counter open for fresh sushi made to order. If they could do that and get a better Korean resturant in there I would be super happy! There are lot's of great resturants in the neighborhood so get out and explore.

Crowds flock to this international food court for fast and tasty Asian food at bargain prices.. In Short
Businesspeople, families, sports fans and shoppers pack the communal tables of grocery behemoth Uwajimaya's food court at mealtime to sample its many offerings. Highlights: overnight-marinated beef bulgogi from Shilla Korean BBQ, barbeque duck from Uwajimaya's steam counter, Hawaiian breaded chicken katsu from Aloha Plates, yellow curry from Thai Place, Vietnamese sandwiches from Saigon Bistro, and Filipino chicken adobo from Inay's Kitchen. Each vendor also features its own full menu and daily specials.

Awesome Asian place. It has a bookstore, which carried all Asian products of magazines, books, CDs, comics, stationaries and all that!!!!!!

I love that store~

And the food court has a bubble tea place which sells YUMMY bubble tea, so if you're looking for trying something new, go to that!! it's so good.

Overall, I just love it
