Cookies. Although the sandwiches are fresh and yummy, it's really the cookies that lures me in. Try the wheat germ cookie. Sounds gross--but it's surprisingly good.

Hit and Miss. Specialty's bakes a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and muffins in their downtown cafe.

This place is a complete gamble. I have been there dozens of times, and sometimes I get fresh, delicious food; but sometimes I get stale, cold, burned, or soggy food.

Why, I don't know. Anymore, I only go there when I'm in a hurry, as I work across the street.

Today I got a sandwich and brownie for lunch. The sandwich was good, but the brownie was quite burned around the edges. Why sell burned food?!

The one thing that is consistent is the service- it is nearly always terrible. The counter help is usually rude, and they rush you in and out.

If you try this place, you are taking a gamble. Your experience may be good one day, and bad the next.
