i also really wanted to like the place, and have gone to eat brunch there 4 times over the year. i'm giving up on it because of the HORRIBLE service. every employee is apathetic to everything except each other. the food takes a very very very long time to come out, and isn't hot when it finally does. no one checks up on tables during that time to let customers know why their food isn't there yet. it is impossible to flag anyone down to get boxes or service. at least 4 capable servers and other workers walked right by our table of three constantly for about 20 minutes from when we finished eating, without one glance of acknowledgement. they seem to give ok service to some tables, and very bad service to others. when we were seated the place was full (about 1 pm on a sunday). when we were finally able to leave (because of the slow service) we were the ONLY customers in the place. we were being completely ignored by every employee when we were the only ones left, and were obviously very done with our meal and happiness. food is fine, menu is big, but there is no sense of purpose or urgency going on in the place so everything lacks.

Best pancakes in town. Not the heavy type. Light with blueberries. Great place to have breakfast.

Don't waste your time. Make the trip to a nearly identically decorated place - CJ's eatery - the food there is GREAT. The food is inconsistent - the menu is misleading - the service is lousy.
