Lunch time is crazy... call ahead. and dont be scared of this place. By appearance its definetly considered a hole in the wall. The food is great and they will make any food request you have. I go here at least once a week and have stumbled upon a combo of spicy-Teriyaki W/ veges and rice. or for a 7.95 get the lunch combo with more than your heart could ever desire. eggroll goyoza edamame its got it all.. BEst Teriyaki in seattle
Pros: fast, cheap, friendly staff
Cons: worn in look, crowded lunch

Tourists with an hour to get to an event, we scanned the internet for about 3 minutes for Chinese/Japanese food. Okinawa Teriyaki popped up as downtown and vegetarian friendly. When we got there, we hesitated to enter. It was empty at 5:15 on a Thursday, hmmm, odd. The tables and worn bench seating didn't help convince us. But, we were running out of time, and we were hungry. I ordered the tofu & fresh veggies (the dish name escapes me) and my partner ordered the mushroom chicken (regular, not spicy). We sat down with our styrofoam cups & plastic utensils and waited. Not too long afterwards, two steaming plates were presented with large portions. It smelled wonderful. It was gorgeous to look at. It tasted even better. Fresh vegetables, perfectly sticky rice, and a sauce that sits just right on the tasty/sweet/salty/thick meters make this a definite thumbs up!
Pros: menu variety, vegetarian options, fast service
Cons: curb appeal, seating areas, bathroom facilities
