With the Renaissance Hotel already having Pellini as their upscale dining joint, Maxwell's serves as the standard hotel coffee shop. But in addition to light coffee shop fare, the menu also boasts steak and seafood selections. Given that there is nothing pretentious about the place, and that the revenue source for the kitchen draws more from room service, prices are quite reasonable. I had strip steak with peppercorn sauce and it was quite satisfying and well-prepared. Non-hotel guests would do well to check this eatery out.
