view & uploadDon't get it. Based on the high ratings Mae Phim gets I've tried the place at least 4 times and have been incredibly disappointed each time. I'm not expecting gourmet from a lunch spot but the garlic chicken I just ate was pitiful. I couldn't taste any garlic to speak of, the chicken was anemic and had that "I've been around way too long" smell, and the vegetables were tasteless and overcooked. Are these other ratings from Mae Phim and relatives? There are far better places nearby for Thai food.
again..its VALUE.
its definitely great food for the money...
if you're looking for a quick afternoon fix on your thai food cravings..this is the spot to go to...
again, good food, great value, fast service...
Oh so good.
I have been going to Mae Phim since it opened. They greet me by name (and in unison) when I enter.
It's a small place, noisy, a line out the door (which is always open. It is cool in the winter.
And I love it. The food is fast, superb, and inexpensive. Everyone who works there is sweet.
Fresh, Flavorful & Friendly. All fresh ingredients, ginger, curry, the nummiest, thickest peanut sauce! The food is served piping hot and quickly! Cheap price for a high quality product!
No other place compares!!!!.
Mae Phim is what I look forward to each day I go to work, no other place anywhere compares. Good food and friendly people.
Everyone should atleast give this place a chance.
Amazing Value. For $6 you recieve huge portions that most could extend into two meals. One of the greatest lunch spots in Seattle as it's quick, cheap, filling and above all else, very tasty! If you like great Thai, you can't go wrong...
Best lunch in the city. This place is a favorite for a quick, tasty lunch downtown. It's busy, packed and fast and I've never been disappointed.
