In Short – Middle Eastern pop blares in the background at this crowded eatery where the business crowd lines up at lunchtime for tasty falafel, shawarma and gyros sandwiches and entree plates. Other menu favorites include a minty tabbouleh salad, thick lentil soup and other Middle Eastern standards. When night falls, the suits give way to a younger crowd out on the town--the lights are dimmed, hookahs are smoked and DJs spin electronic music.

The worst $9.50 lunch I have ever had at the Pioneer Square
Very shot and unpleasant service.
I ordered greek salad with meet. Salad mix was not fresh at all and
Lamb "meet" patties taste more like bread that anything.
It was a big mistake to go there.
- Cons: Food, Service
Great Falafel
by browncm83
I was so sad when the 3rd Ave site closed! At least I can still enjoy the authentic gyros and falafel plates at the 1st and Cherry location. The food is fresh and delicious. Weekend nights, it turns into a hooka bar with live belly dancers! How cool is that?
- Pros: Yum-o food
- Cons: The 3rd Ave site had better atmosphere
Authentic food and great decor

I go for lunch so I can't speak much about the prices, but they are a little on the high side. Food seems very authentic, which makes it an acquired taste for some. You gotta go just to check out the back area complete with hookah pipes and walls covered with Eqyptian scenes. Reminds me of the inside of a pyramid. High ceilings also make it a fav for alternative events, like fashion shows.
- Pros: Unique decor, Yummy food, Quick service
- Cons: Slightly high prices
