great place. love Vitos! I go there with my girlfriends when we want to have a good night, great drinks and food.
All I can say is.....thank you..
This place....well, it's just plain awesome. I can sincerely say I have not had East Coast Italian food in this town since I've moved here. Now I have. Best Saltimbocca I've had in a long, long
time!!!!
I really think you're going to enjoy the whole experience.
Great decor. A really good Martini. Hot servers (male and female). The music is a bit mellow at times (live grand piano players), but perfect for dinner and the people watching can't be beat.
I'm very happy we have a place like this in Seattle. Check it out, but don't tell everyone. Wanna make sure I can always get a table.
Congratulations to all involved. You've hit this one out of the ballpark.…
Fabulous new owners- fall 2010.. Absolute perfection in this newly refinished jewel of a space. Whether you're having a full sit-down Italian dinner, or simply a cocktail in the lounge, you will be pleased each and every time. Pop on in and meet the new crew- I think we'll all be regulars soon enough.…
New Owners, Complete Remodel, Classic Awesomeness!.
The reconditioned Vito's, which is opening tonight, cannot be judged by the prior reviews. The reviews were true for Vito's before it closed about a year ago after a tragic turn of events, but new
reviews will need to be written for what it has become.
I went to a preview evening on Tuesday. Wow! They've done great things to the space. It's still the Vito's you might remember, but it's been washed and polished. New additions to the decor, like the awesome mural along the back wall, are in keeping with the spirit of the restaurant's original intent back in the day. The well trained and attentive staff are well put together and professional.
The cocktails are fantastic, as one would expect from this follow-up venture by the folks who brought the Hideout to First Hill. I didn't get a chance to sample the food, but it smelled and looked fantastic. I'm looking forward to going back this weekend for the full experience.
And, there's entertainment. The piano player from the old Cloud Room and Ruby Bishop, the legend, among others.
They've done a great job with restoring a Seattle landmark to its former glory. It's an asset to the First Hill neighborhood and to the Seattle restaurant scene.…
Don't think so.. Live in the neighborhood and have always wanted to go to Vito's but after reading the bad reviews I think I will stay away and especially after the shooting there.............
