A PARTICULARLY DRAB OUTSIDE WITH GLORIOUS INSIDES. I have been coming here for quite a few years. From the outside, it is located next to several Vietnamese joints. I first went there when we had an excessively long wait at Tamarind Tree and have never regretted it. We are often the only Anglos in this family-run bustling place. My all time favorite dishes include Sichuanese Ravioli Soup, a glorious concoction of multiple raviolis floating at varying depths of well spiced soup. Even more amazing are the pot stickers, not the usual plump, greasy sextet for $6.95, but a remarkable 18 of these mini pillows for $4.95. I take em home for another meal. The place is as real as it is ugly. Service is okay.…
The Best!. I have been coming here for over 10 years. It is still the best Sichuan food in Seattle, bar none!!
the real deal. After spending sometime in China and chengdu I was craving chinese food when i got back to Seattle This place was it. Its the real thing. Everything we ate was great and authentic and the hot pots looked amazing! Cant wait to go back for more! The staff were friendly and running around providing fast efficient service in this jam packed little gem!…
Hidden Beauty. This restaurant is by far my favorite. You can't get a better deal in town, especially for the awesome food they serve. Huge variety, hard to choose once you pick your favorites, but cheap enough to get all of them! I love this restaurant, never been dissapointed...except for the service.…
Hands down best Chinese food outside of Chendu.
This place has the most spicy, mouth watering (or numbing if prefer) food anywhere. The prices are great and the staff is very helpful if you ask. For newbies, I'd start with the dry-cooked chicken,
boiled fish, and twice-cooked pork. All three, IMHO, are the best tasting food you can buy with any amount of money - I'm not kidding.
Unlike most other Chinese food places that serve Chinese-American food, this place is down-home Sichuan cuisine. Authentic, period. It tastes like my grandma use to make it, and reminds me of home... Maybe it'll take you far away.…
