Dance nights, fetish fashion, punk bands, goth tours; this is the place for the most unique shows in town..
The Scene
Although no longer the goth haven of yesteryear, the Catwalk still keeps its fingers on the pulse of Seattle's dark-music scene. Putting its spacious real estate to use--three sizable rooms, once one navigates the hazardous stairs--the Catwalk hosts fetish fashion shows, theme dance nights, and bands large and small. Partnering with local companies like Bizarre Productions, Seattle Metal Online, and MusicWerks, the Catwalk has staged performances by bands that might otherwise give Seattle a miss.
The Draw
Plenty of room, no matter how popular the act, counts for a lot. The Catwalk doesn't pour the best drink in Seattle, but does have better-than-average nonalcoholic selections. Many of the concerts are all-ages, and theme nights and costume balls are popular attractions.
Great place to see a show. WOW, what a great place to see live music! I've seen a few shows there and they've all been great.
meow. I went there with some friends on a Friday Night, and I had so much fun. The staff was wonderful and the place had a great vibe. We danced so much and had a great time. I never been there but heard a lot about the Catwalk and I will tell all my friends to go there. They have so many different nights that going there every weekend is like going to a new place every time.
ghetto fabulous. I went here on a Sunday night after 11pm. It was not crowded at all but after midnight the place was packed. They played hip-hop, which I like but the crowd was shady. They wand you when you come in the door. I would go back again just because the place does get crowded and the music is good.
