In Short
It doesn't offer much in the way of atmosphere: brick walls and a big wooden bar are about it. High-volume local bands playing Thursdays through Saturdays pack the place in a hurry. Doc Maynard's is one of the most popular stops on Pioneer Square's frequent joint-cover nights, and for the young crowd coming down to hear and make noise, Doc Maynard's is usually one of the first stops.

If you love history, this is a great tour to get some first hand history about Seattle. It is a bit cold and damp, but a fun trip and great information.

Seattle's underground has been well preserved, and it is a fascinating place. The tours are very popular. The guides know so much about Seattle's history, and are very good at imparting it in an interesting way. This is a great and unique place to take out-of-town visitors, as well as for us locals to take in. PROS: A very unique way to review Seattle's history. CONS:
