Fairman and his wife, Laurie, have perpetuated the store's tradition of exquisite Eastern antiques in their Seattle location since 1977. The rooms are uncluttered and museum-like: 2,000-year-old sculptures and 100-year-old tobacco boxes bear tags with extensive descriptions of their origins and meaning.
