In Short
Imported and domestic toys and games form the backbone of this extensive collection of toys: Stuffed animals, beautiful dolls with extensive wardrobes, sailboats, wooden and electric train sets. Big-budget collectors will find treasures such as a Porsche pedal car, made in Italy, selling for $350. More down to earth are the sturdy, German trikes, pedal cars and scooters in bright, primary colors. A diverse selection of books, CDs and tapes encourages young readers and music lovers.

My experience was similar to that of tbmr. The check-out person was apparently one of the owners, and he could hardly have been ruder. True, I was spending less than $5.00, but that was because of the high prices of their toys. I had meant to buy several things for my grandkids, but changed my mind. When I was checking out, the person ahead of me asked an innocuous question about a toy, and the clerk snarled at him. When it was my turn to pay, the clerk was again impatient. I bought a small toy, but I won't ever go back.

Awhile ago I bought a travel game board for a present. Later on I realized that the price was much higher than I could find anywhere else. I was fine with paying more than a large-scale box store, but their price was double the highest price I could find anywhere else. When I called, their response was that they were a toy store and it was a convenience that they stocked board games. They reminded me that we live in a capitalistic society. ????????? Last week my husband purchase a toy for our son's birthday. The packaging stated that batteries were not included. When we went to put in the batteries, there were batteries already in the toy and they had corroded. Returning them was not easily done. I hate boycotting local businesses and I am a Seattle native who had always enjoyed this store. Oh, well....
