Fast, friendly, open LATE. What's not to like? Burger Hut is open late every night, food comes up fast, and the owner's very friendly. The burgers are not large, but a good size for the price. My favorites: (1) I really enjoy the mushroom burger. The mushrooms are fresh and grilled just long enough, so they're not too soggy. (2) The vegetable burger is hand-made there, not your usual soy patty. Very good. (3) The blackberry shakes are fantastic! P.S. - If you've read any of my other reviews you'll be noticing a pattern: I like to eat on the Ave. It's simple really: nowhere else can you find so many restaurants that are both good and affordable.
